How many guests can I bring to my appointment?

The Wedding Studio Berkshire is a small studio and can accommodate up to 3 adult guests for your appointment. Of course, it’s totally cool to come and enjoy the experience on your own if you’d prefer.

Shall I bring / wear anything specific to my appointment?

I recommend wearing plain, nude underwear (seamless is ideal). The bigger the better! If possible, avoid black or white underwear as this will be visible through the dresses.

If you already have your wedding shoes chosen, do bring them along. If not, there are heels in the studio for you to try.  

Please wear minimal makeup, and I kindly request no fake tan or heavy foundation so that the dresses are kept pristine for yourself and the next bride.

What are the price ranges?

Wedding dresses start at £1750 and go up to £3800. The majority of dresses sit around the £2000 - 2500 price point.

Accessories (earrings, headpieces and veils) range from £75 - £395.

When should I start dress shopping and when should I order my dress?

I recommend starting 12 – 18 months before your wedding date. Lead times are typically 6-8 months, but vary per designer.

Shorter turnarounds are possible with a rush fee so please do reach out if you’re concerned about your timeline.

Please also allow 3-4 months for alterations.

Do you offer alterations?

Being a small studio, I do not offer alterations in-house. Instead, I work closely with an amazing seamstress business nearby. Further details can be shared upon placing an order. Whilst all dresses are made to order with your measurements in mind, alterations will be required.

Can I make changes to my dress?

The Wedding Studio Berkshire’s designers are happy to accommodate small tweaks to designs; we can discuss your preferences during your appointment.

What size are your dress samples?

Our studio samples range from size 10 - 16, with the majority being size 12. Don't worry if the sample isn't your exact size; our designers cater to all sizes.

Can you accommodate rush orders?

All of my designers can accommodate shorter turn around times for a small rush fee. If you’re worried, please drop me an email or message and we can discuss your options.

Can I take photos during my appointment?

I am more than happy for you to take photos (or better yet, videos!) during your appointment. Just remember that a photo doesn’t capture how you felt in a dress <3

How do I place an order?

A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to place an order, with the remaining 50% due when the dress is ready to be shipped from the designer.

What is your returns policy?

As all dresses are made to order, items are final sale and non-refundable, with a contractual agreement in place. Full terms and conditions will be provided at the time of placing an order.

You stock a designer I love but not the dress I have my eye on - what should I do?

What is a trunk show?

A trunk show features a new collection from a designer for a limited period, sometimes with a special discount offer available when purchased at the time. These will be announced via the website, email and social media.
